I am a professional opera singer by training, and I have spent the past decade traveling throughout the United States and Europe singing in various venues. I am continually in awe of the discoveries and inspirations each new place offers: Granada seduced me with it’s organic natural symmetry; on a beach in Portofino I came upon gray beach stones which gave birth to my Wave collection; the unfolding spiral of a budding fern one Spring in Maine sparked my imagination. These discoveries have guided my creative vision, and I have tried to parallel the “jewels” that nature has so elegantly created in my work.
I have been fortunate enough to combine my love of singing and jewelry making to help raise funds for HIV/AIDS support organizations. I hold numerous trunks shows and make personal appearances in various venues several times each year, and a portion of all proceeds from these events benefit organizations such as Sing For Hope , Classical Action, and Bering Omega Community Services.
